What you are buying

A seat at a table of 5 operators and one senior AI engineer. Sessions run 90 minutes, every 2 weeks. Membership is open-ended after an initial 3 month term.

You are buying access to a room and the engineer who runs it. You are not buying software, a licence, or a deliverable. What you build, you own.

Money

$600 a month, billed monthly. The first 3 months are a commitment: $1,800 in total. After that it is month to month and you can stop at the end of any billing period.

There is no guarantee and no refund of a month in progress. Cards are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

The seat

One seat, one person. No delegates and no guests. If you are offered a seat we hold it for 72 hours; after that it goes back in the pool and nothing is charged.

If two people pay for the last seat at the same moment, the second payment is refunded in full and we tell you.

The rules of the table

Every member agrees to eight rules before paying. They are recorded against the version you signed, and changing the wording creates a new version rather than rewriting what you agreed to. In short:

1. 1. No selling. You're here as an operator, never a vendor. No pitching, prospecting, or selling to your peers. Not at the table, not after it.
2. 2. Total confidentiality. Numbers, problems, builds, names: what's said at the table stays at the table. No recordings, no screenshots, no stories with identifying details.
3. 3. Don't trade on it. Nothing you learn here gets used against a peer. Not in the market, not in a deal, not in a negotiation.
4. 4. No productizing. Tools built or shared here are for running your business, not for packaging and resale.
5. 5. Never ask for someone's tool. If they want to share it, they will. Otherwise build your own from what you learned, and ask questions to fill the gaps.
6. 6. One seat, one person. No delegates, no stand-ins, no guests. The seat is yours alone.
7. 7. Show up. Ninety minutes, every two weeks. Miss two in a row without a word and we'll talk about whether the seat should be yours.
8. 8. Hands off the people. Your peers' teams are not your recruiting pool.

Break them and the seat is gone, with no refund of the month in progress.

What we build on

Systems you build are yours. Patterns and approaches discussed at the table inform how we run future tables and what we teach in them.

This section is incomplete and a lawyer is writing the real version. The intended position: members may not package or resell tools and patterns from the table, while The Eighth Day’s own library grows from what gets built across tables. That asymmetry is deliberate and it will be stated explicitly here before anyone is asked to rely on it.

Ending it

After the initial term, cancel at the end of any billing period and you keep everything you built. We can end a membership for breaking the table rules, and we will tell you why.
